The Memorandum of cooperation in the field of rendering aid to population suffered from emergency situations will be signed on 15 November 2017 between Bulat Utemuratov's Foundation and Red Crescent Society of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Non-Governmental Organization.
The funds will be transferred to ForteBank payment cards and issued by the employees of the Red Crescent Society to sufferers as a result of emergency situations. The sum of aid will amount 67,200,000 (sixty seven million two hundred thousand) tenge. The first tranche in the amount of 33,600,000 will be transferred in 2017 and the second - in 2018.
It is planned that the sum credited to one card will vary from 20,000 to 30,000 tenge. Food, personal hygiene means and the most urgently needed things may be purchased for these funds during the first days after natural disaster. It will become the first financial support for people suffered in addition to the measures which will be taken by the state.
The founder of Charity Foundation Bulat Utemuratov said, “I cannot stay on the sidelines when people are left without a roof over their head and food. We will render the first humanitarian aid to people suffered by joint efforts of the Foundation, ForteBank and Red Crescent Society. I hope that business community and social organizations will support this multi-side initiative.”

Such system developed within the frameworks of this partnership will make it possible to render aid to population most quickly and efficiently. Time and efficiency are the most important in the period of emergency. We are glad that such crucial projects appear as a result of alliance of business, non-indifferent citizens and non-commercial sector.

Speed and operational efficiency of rendering aid to people suffered are important in the extreme situation caused by natural disaster. The decisions should be technologically simple, clear, reliable and transparent. The Memorandum signed today aims to ensure just that.”
